Looking back at Jeremiah 8, what did God say to you about a “broken heart”?

Review – Tuesday – April 2

The past few weeks we’ve been looking at things from the standpoint of keep a soft heart towards God and “hearing with the intent to obey and the fact that God wants more than anything to be with us!  What is God saying to you?

Review – Wednesday – April 3

Read Jeremiah 9:23-24.  Meditate on these verses and do some “boasting in the Lord”.  Why not boast about the Lord around your dinner table tonight?

Prepare – Thursday – April 4

Read Jeremiah 10.  What are the contrasting points between God and the idols?  Focus primarily on the way God is described.  Spend some time worshiping Him for who He is.

Prepare – Friday – April 5

Read Jeremiah 11:1-17 – What is God’s instruction to Jeremiah in verse 14 and why?  What does that tell us about God?  Is it possible that God will not contend with rebellious people forever?  Gen. 6:3

Prepare – Saturday – April 6

Read Jeremiah 11:18, 19 and 12:1-4.  These are Jeremiah’s complaints to the Lord.  What is he complaining about?  Take note of the deep honesty between Jeremiah and God in the verses that follow, as well.  What can we learn from this?

Consider: How honest are you with God?
