Have you ever had those “What if” thoughts? What if I could get a better job? What if my marriage was better? What if my children were walking with God? What if I had the means to do something big? And on they go. Many of our “What if’s” are of past regrets. What if I had gone to a different college? What if I had married someone else? What if I had not lost money in the stock market?
But what if we spent more time taking our “what if’s” and focusing our prayer in that direction. The one I’m focusing on right now is, “What if Fulton Alliance church services became a place where people regularly encountered the Lord and that led to transformation?” And then I like to add to that, “What if that encounter led to our going out and an encounter with us would be somewhat like an encounter with Jesus?” Wow! Can you imagine that? I believe it is possible and that’s what I’m praying for.
What is the “What if” you are asking God for? Have you begun to pray regularly for that? Is your “What if” as big as God is?”
Let’s begin to “What if” our way into a new level of prayer.
